Do foreigners need approval to buy a Marina Collection unit?
No. The Singapore Land Authority lists condominium units among the residential property a foreign person may buy without approval. Landed residential property at Sentosa Cove is the exception and needs SLA approval.
How is stamp duty worked out for a Sentosa Cove condominium?
Buyer's Stamp Duty is charged on the price in tiers, and Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty depends on whether you are a citizen, permanent resident, foreigner or entity and how many residential properties you already own. The stamp duty calculator on the tools page applies the current IRAS tables.
